In order to take full advantage of the benefits of CARs Deluxe – such as adding Bookmarks, Notes and Highlighting Text – you must first create a Shadow File. This CARs Deluxe video tutorial shows you how to create and work with shadow files.

A Shadow File does not permit you to edit any of the documents. Rather, it lets you mark the infobase with bookmarks and notes, and to highlight text as easily as you do to a paper document.

When CARs Deluxe is updated on a quarterly basis, your existing Shadow File will be reconciled and updated the first time you open your shadow file. This video tutorial also takes you through the reconcile and save process.
